Tariff no. 81
For a patent application:
1) up to 10 patent claims
2) for every patent claim following 10 patent claims
For a petty patent application
For a request for the international registration of a patent, trademark, model, sample, that is, of a mark of origin and a designation of origin
For an international patent application:
1) up to 10 patent claims
2) for every patent claim following 10 patent claims
NOTE:
A fee referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this tariff number is reduced by 10% if an applicant encloses with his application the translation into English of the title of the invention and of the abstract.
The fee referred to in paragraph 9 of this tariff number will increase by 50% if the international patent application is filed in the subsequent period of 30 days upon the expiry of the period for its entering into the national phase of application examination.
If an applicant for the grant of a patent or a petty patent, topography, model or sample is a national inventor or an author, the fee payable under this tariff number will be reduced by 10%.
The reduction referred to in paragraph 3 of this note also refers to the heirs in the first order of succession of the persons mentioned. |

Tariff number 84
For the maintenance of rights conferred by a patent application and a patent, an annual fee is paid:
1) for the third year counting from the application filing date
2) for the fourth year counting from the application filing date
3) for the fifth year counting from the application filing date
4) for the sixth year counting from the application filing date
5) for the seventh year counting from the application filing date
6) for the eighth year counting from the application filing date
7) for the ninth year counting from the application filing date
8) for the tenth year counting from the application filing date
9) For the eleventh year and every following year until the cessation of the patent, counting from the date of the filing of an application, the fee referred to in point 8 of this tariff number will be increased by 2,000 dinars per year
For the maintenance of rights conferred by an additional patent application, that is, by a patent of addition, an annual fee referred to in paragraph 1 of this tariff number will be decreased by 30%.
NOTE:
1. The note to tariff number 81 also applies.
2. An annual fee for the maintenance of rights conferred by a patent application, i.e., for the maintenance of a patent is paid before the beginning of the year for which the fee is being paid and not earlier than three months before the lapse of the period for which the previous fee was paid.
3. If the annual fee referred to in point 2 of this Note is not paid, it can be paid within six month from the date of the lapse of the period referred to in that point as increased by 50%.
4. If a patent of addition is declared a basic patent, a fee paid for the basic patent according to this tariff number will be paid for it as of the following year.

Tariff no. 85
For the maintenance of a petty patent, an annual fee shall be paid:
1) for the third year counting from the application filing date 1,200
2) for the fourth year counting from the application filing date 1,300
3) for the fifth year counting from the application filing date 1,500
4) for the sixth year counting from the application filing date 2,200
5) for the seventh year counting from the application filing date 2,400
6) for the eighth year counting from the application filing date 2,900
7) for the ninth year counting from the application filing date 3,600
8) for the tenth year counting from the application filing date 4,400
NOTE:

2.An annual fee for the maintenance of rights conferred by a petty patent application, i.e. for the maintenance of a petty patent is paid before the beginning of the year for which the fee is being paid and not earlier than three months before the lapse of the period for which the previous fee was paid.
