How and where is an application for the invention filed? An application for the invention is filed in writing and is handed over at the reception desk of the Office where the applicant will immediately get a filing receipt indicating the serial number and date of the reception of his application. An application can be sent by mail or fax, but the applicant is obliged to file an application in the prescribed form within one month from the date of reception. For the time being, it is not possible to send an application for an invention by e-mail. 8. What fees are charged for filing an application and how are they paid? 9. How is a patent granted? 10.
